I have a client who has to have his learners to complete 1/2 hours training a month to meet their industry regulations. The training is in the form of 100s of simulations drawn at random from a question bank.
Depending on how quick they are they could answer between 50 to 90 questions in the 1/2 hour.
We have set the count down timer to stop the quiz after 1/2 an hour. so far so good. The problem we have is how to we get the storyline to report to the LMS a complete status keeping in mind it does not really matter how many questions they answers but they that they have spend 30 doing the simulations.
Would adding a result slide when the 30 minutes finishes be an option? Storyline communicates course completion to an LMS (LMSCommit) when the user meets the completion requirement, either when they reach the appropriate result slide or when they have viewed the required number of slides:
