Reporting in SilkRoad Learning
Mar 28, 2017
Hi,
My company currently uses SilkRoad Learning (fka Green Light) and I'm having a little difficulty with one of the reports. I load my Articulate courses that don't have a quiz embedded to be complete/incomplete, and to be tracked based on the number of slides viewed. In other words, the completion of the Articulate course is not scored. For some of these, I have a quiz attached that was built in SilkRoad. When I look at reports, I also see that the Articulate course is given a "score" of half of whatever the person scored on the attached quiz. So, if someone gets an 80 on the quiz, the course shows with a score of 40. This is very confusing to people reviewing the reports. I've tried many times to see if this has to do with the settings in SilkRoad, but I keep getting told it's something to do with the SCORM file. Are there any other settings I might be missing when publishing that could be causing this? Thanks!

Hey Lacey,
Thanks for you post! I'm not familiar with SilkRoad Learning, but my first thought is that this could be related to your course settings within the LMS. When you test the course in SilkRoad, are you testing the entire Storyline file until all slides have been viewed before starting the quiz?
Yes, people have to view the entire course before proceeding. I thought it might have to do with settings in the LMS as well, but their support team keeps telling me it's the SCORM file, but I don't see how it could be if the SCORM file is set as complete/incomplete with no score.
Hmm, you've got quite a puzzle here, Lacey! One way we generally test files published for LMS delivery is through SCORM Cloud. If everything works well there, then we know the issue is not related to your SCORM file. You can create a free account here, and we are happy to help you with that testing if you'd like to share your file!
