Reporting on indivudual quiz questions

May 25, 2015

Hi,

I've recently been asked to create an assessment in Articulate that can report on the results of individual questions per learner in our LMS.  The objective is that managers will be able to see which questions learners struggled with and provide targeted follow-up training/coaching on these.  My issue is that when I publish to the LMS I'm only able to report on the final collective results of each learner, not per question result.  Can anyone help me with this challenge?

Hi Leanne!

This article describes the quiz data that Articulate Storyline communicates to learning management systems (LMSs) for SCORM and AICC content. How your LMS handles that information may vary though.

Result slides give learners dynamic feedback at the end of quizzes and surveys. They also send reporting and tracking information to learning management systems, including learners' responses and scores. See this tutorial to learn all about result slides.

You have the ability to track the total results of result slides, but you are correct, only one will be tracked by LMS.

Hey Chris - Great question and I could see where that could be confusing.

Looks like Crystal and I both linked to the same article and when you open it you can see the versions it's applicable for:

Are you utilizing one of those versions or do you have a specific question we can further assist with?

Hi Kelly,

Yep, that should be all :)

Are you having difficulty with your reporting?

So, the individual questions that are tracked via your results slide will be included in the data sent to your LMS.

I hope that helps you out.
