I moved the Retry Quiz button to the Failure layer of the results slide, so it was only an option if learners failed the quiz. However, it appears that if they retake the quiz and pass, it still reports back to our LMS as failed. I checked on the Edit Result Slide, and it appears that when the Retry Quiz button is moved to the Failure layer, the Allow users to retry quiz option in the Result Slide Properties is unticked.
Does this mean that the LMS will only report on the first result, and ignore the subsequent attempts, meaning I have to move the Retry Quiz button back to the Base Layer and hide it on the Success layer, or is something else going on?
It's up to your LMS what results they capture and if they'll also take the second attempt - as once a user hits the results slide we send the results to the LMS. The retry option may be unchecked just based on how you moved it, but the retry button will still reset their results if they're accessing it and using it. Have you reached out to your LMS team to see what they said in regards to tracking more than one attempt?

The LMS is set to accept an unlimited number of attempts, which is why I thought the issue might be the way I'd set up the results slide, but I've double checked, and as you suggested, the retry button does reset the results, so it is more than likely an issue on the LMS side.
