Representing Case Studies (lots of text-need interaction)

Hi,

I need to add 4 case studies to a course and there are 3 screens of text (at 14 font) to read for each. This seems boring, so I thought about using hotspots for the user to click to look for certain material. Client not entirely thrilled with this. Is it possible to do a drag and drop of "text" to somewhere on the screen? 

Any other ideas? All of the material needs to be on the screen even with a VO b/c they use the numbers for calculations later. Attached is my very basic hotspot idea-where they click and a caption is revealed that that is correct. Ignore the simplicity and verbiage---I was just testing out ideas. Thank you in advance for any creative ways to display these case studies!!
