Does anyone know how to reset a data entry field. When i go back to the previous screen it still has the data in the field, but i still have to type it in again.
You'd need to include a trigger to reset the value, as it's now displaying the variable value for the text entry there and isn't reset as a default. Here is a bit of an older thread, but you could use a similar behavior in Storyline 2.
Keep in mind that it'll remove the data stored in the variable and that isn't captured or saved anywhere else.

Can you create a trigger on the input object, to set the variable value to blank when the timeline starts? See attached project file.
