reset results

Apr 14, 2014

Good afternoon guys

I need some help desperately with a quiz I have created. Its a multiple choice quiz. When someone clicks the incorrect answer the message appears showing that it is incorrect. Once the continue button is pressed, this redirects you to a revision slide where the user can read information again. On this same page there is a button that allows the user to jump straight back to the same question. The problem I'm having is once the user goes back to that question the answer they entered before is still there and you can not select another answer. How would I reset these results so that they can answer the question again?

would really appreciate it if someone could help me soon.

Thank you

Zeeshan

Hi there Zeeshan!

I recommend checking the revisiting settings for the question slide. If you set this to "Reset to initial state", the slide should completely reset when it's visited a second time.

There's a couple of ways to change this setting. One option is to open the question slide in "Slide View" and modify the options for Revisiting. You can access these options by clicking on the small cogwheel icon in the lower right-hand corner of the panel below the Slide Layers window.

It should look something like this:

If you try this and still have trouble, please try sharing our .STORY file so we can see what's happening in the project.

Thanks!

Christine
