When I set my quiz slide property "When revisiting" to "Reset to initial state", the review mode does not work anymore. Every slide will show 'wrong' no matter if the answer was wrong or right.
But if i set the property to "Resume saved state", the player will not start over, my audio files wont play again and the rewind button does not work anymore.
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are running into with your project.
Have you taken a look at using 'Automatically Decide'?
The behavior of the Rewind button is determined by the “When revisiting” property for each slide. There are three options to choose from:
Automatically decide: This is the default option, and it means Storyline will decide automatically whether to rewind the slide or not. Here's the logic: If the slide contains just simple objects and audio but no interactivity, Storyline will rewind the slide to the beginning of the slide’s timeline. However, if the slide contains any interactive elements, such as buttons or any other object that includes a visited/selected state, Storyline won't rewind the slide.
Resume saved state: This option will always prevent the slide from rewinding.
Reset to initial state: This option will always force the slide to rewind.
Thanks for your detailed answer. Yes, this seems to be the point. I have interactive buttons, that's why my slides with 'Automatically Decide' behave the same way like the ones with 'resume saved state'.
I need the review mode so I guess I just have to do without the rewinding...
Hi Leslie, but, when we have a slide with "Resume" and "When revisiting" and seekbar, it shows rewind button and it doesn´t work. So can I delete it or show as a hidden state? Because, if rewind button doesn´t work with "resume", and slide has an audio item, then it is not necessary to stay next to my seekbar (and I need all elements together: audio, resumen state and seekbar).
When the Slide Properties are set to Resume Saved State, this option always prevents the slide from rewinding. This is by design, and this guide should provide more details on the functionality of the Replay button. In regards to hiding the Replay button, the best way to do this is by removing the Seekbar either by slide or from the project.

Glad that explanation was able to help you out, Raban.
We are tracking a feature request for additional functionality and customization for the Rewind button, so I'm going to attach this conversation :)
