Resetting a numeric question
Jul 13, 2014
I have a number of numeric questions in my project. There is no need for a Results slide. I have set the properties of the slide to 'Reset to initial state'.
If a person enters a number in the data box which is wrong, they continue from the Incorrect layer of that slide to another slide where they can see how to work out the problem.
They then return to the numeric question slide to have another go.
Their initial answer remains in the data entry box. They can overtype this.
Is there a way (a variable?) to remove their initial answer/make the data entry box blank) upon their return to the quiz slide?
Thanks

Hey Mark,
If you have some sort of exit button on your incorrect layer, add a 'adjust variable' trigger to that button, and make sure it's setting your variable to a blank value. You'll pretty much always have to do this for your variable questions. Hope that does the trick.

Hi Sam
That was too easy! It certainly did the trick!
Many thanks.
Great! Glad to help!
