Resetting an action from Video Try Mode

I have embedded a Try Mode Video to a lesson plan. At the end of the lesson I want the students to have the ability to click the previous button and return to the beginning if more practice is needed. There are 2 screens where the students actually type in text and the Text Entry Trigger states (SetVariable2 equal to the type value when the control loses focus). When the student returns to these screens, the typed text is still filled in from the first try. How can I reset these slides so the typed information will be reset to "blank" when the student returns.

Hi Tami,
Have you looked at the slide revisiting properties for those slides? You'd want to use the "reset to initial state" option. You could also look at using a trigger to send text entry to (blank) when the timeline starts or when the user clicks on something such as a reset button?
I tried the restate to initial and that didn't work. I don't know how to reset a trigger to "blank"...can u advise?
Hello Tami!
You would use a trigger set up like this:
But using your variable name from your slide, and also set the slide to reset to initial state upon revisiting! Hope this helps!
Thank you so much, that seems to be working. I am fairly new to this software. I had the Slide Reset piece, but never would have figured out the Variable Adjustment. Thanks alot
Thanks for the update Tami! Glad this is working for you.
