Resetting the questions in a word bank

Hello again,

I know I'm new to Storyline so I'm sorry if this question has already been answered, but I was searching through the Forum and couldn't find an answer, so I was hoping you could help.  

In a project, I have a slide with a word bank question allowing for multiple answers, where each answer pops up a different comment box.  One answer is correct and will allow the user to continue with the presentation.  Two answers are not ideal and ask the user to "try again".  I am trying to reset the question so that the "drop box" area is clear and the options are once again below.   I discovered that if you just leave the attempts in the word bank as unlimited, it does not reset the question, so I set a trigger from the "try again" button to jump to the same slide when the user clicks, and have set the slide to "reset to initial state" when revisited.  This almost works, the options of the word bank appear below the drop box when the slide is jumped to however the text from the previous answer also remains in the box.  How can I make the drop box clear itself or reset when the slide is revisited?
