I recently saw a very nice template of Tom Kuhlmann. One thing that triggered me was the pop-up menu instead of the regular menu you get when activating this option in the player. This is very neat and saves a lot of space.
Could anyone tell me how this is done? I could not find out going through Tom's slidemaster.
Hi Simon, thanks for your reply and that is exactly what I mean. Instead of having the 'full blown' menu of one of the sides the one of Tom's template pops up like a sort of layer as shwon in my screenshot.
Is it just the normal menu that you need to display as a popup? If so, my post above will do that. Or does Tom's version have some additional customisation? I only ask because I haven't seen the latter - would be handy if you could upload it so I can take a look and get back to you.

You mean the option to make the menu appear in the top left corner as opposed to taking up the left hand side bar?
Player > Features > drag the Menu item into the Topbar Left and ensure if it checked.

Any suggestion is welcome!
Simon has shown how to donut, just use the arrows to move it to the top bar left or right as in Simon's image

Hi Simon, Phil,

Thanks for helping me out!
