Resizing issue in slide view of a quiz

Hi,
This is a new problem that I've started to encounter. After I create a question in form view, I'll go into slide view to resize the object so that it fits nicely on the slide. Now, as soon as I try to resize it, the entire object shrinks to a single line size with a tiny scroll bar at the end. At this point I can't seem to be able to change the size. I've tried Ctrl-Z, I've tried resizing using the size and position menu, I've ofcourse, tried resizing with the mouse. All the info is still there in the form view.
My other projects work fine. So it must be a setting I've inadvertently changed.
Has anyone encountered the problem and does anyone have any suggestions?

Below are two screen shots. It only happens in the quiz part. I can resize objects in other slides with no issues. I'm using Storyline 2 if that makes any difference.

I have tried the solution mentioned. And it works.
However, Now I have a glut of master slides resulting in about 3 master question slides and it's frustrating to try and work out which is the working master slide and which is the problem master slide when choosing from the layout.
Is there a setting that has gone awry in my original master question slide and can I just fix that instead of loading up extra copies of master slides?

Hi Jason,
You could look at deleting the problematic masters and then using whichever master slides are working for you. You may want to review the information here in regards to master slides.
