Resizing text boxes in a matching drop-down question

Nov 13, 2019

I have created the attached slide quiz question. The matching drop down questions are showing the text to be bigger than the box and I can't see any way to make the text boxes bigger.

Does anybody know how I can make these text boxes bigger as I don't want to make the text really small.

Thanks, Helen

Alas, the objects in Matching questions can't be custom resized.

One can widen the overall object that includes both the choice and the match. But that has little impact when the question is already set close to the width of the entire slide.

One thing you can do is to decrease the leading in your font. By default, Segoe Print has a lot of space between the lines. If you lower the line spacing, you can make two lines appear within the box even at the current size.

P.S. It appears the slide is still a draft that needs some copy-editing:

  •  2nd choice: I'm guessing this should be "Catching Up Clinics" (not "Caching").
  • 1st match: Insert "for" so it ends "scheduled for a follow up appointment."
  • 2nd match: Fix the typo; it should refer to "patients" (not "patents").
