I captured my screen with articulate and added the video (installation guide) as step-by-step slides to my project. The following issues occured:
1. Articulate did not detect all steps -> i had to do a lot manually 2. The resolution changes on the slides. Really fuzzy in the beginning, but sharp after the mouse click.
Really sorry about that! Our team is seeing this too. In step-by-step screen recording slides, the recording looks blurry until the mouse click. After the mouse click, the screen looks sharp again. As we continue to work on fixing this problem, I'll keep this discussion updated with any new information.
Now, let's talk about why Storyline didn't pick up some of the screen recording steps. What kind of software were you recording? Is it locally installed to your computer, or is it web-based software?
I recorded the installation process of our own company software. It is possible that not all buttons or similar are defined as necessary for articulate.
Thanks, Dominik. Usually we don't see these kinds of issues when doing screen recordings on on locally installed software. If you're still getting stuck, you're welcome to send your file over to our Support Engineers here for more troubleshooting help!
The important part for me is the resolution change. The other part is easily solved by copying and adjusting the slides. Just takes a couple more minutes. For standard applications like Word i didn't have those issues.

Therefor it is a locally installed software.

Hi Dominik,
Great news! We just released another update for Storyline 360, and included a few important fixes that you'll see in the release notes here.
The item you'll be interested in is:
Screen recordings could be blurry when inserted as view mode step-by-step slides.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline 360. Details here.
Please let us know if you have any questions, either here or by reaching out to our Support Engineers directly.
