New to Storyline however a tad stumped WRT when I choose to show the resource tab in the Player Properties and then preview my scene or slide, the resource tab is nowhere to be seen!
Sorry to hear about the odd behavior you are experiencing, but there are a few things we can try first to rule out the causes of some common errors. Please make sure you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline. Also, could you please ensure that you are utilizing the most recent SL2 Update? Info on Update 5 can be found here.

I copied everything over to my local hard drive and made sure I have the latest update installed and yet I still cannot see the resource tab when selected to be seen in the player.

I am working off a remote server- will try moving everything locally and see how I get on.
