I'm having an issue with Resources in Storyline. When I attach a document, everything works fine in the local hosting. But, when I was launching the course in LMS the resources document is open/download. Kindly, do me the needful.

May I ask if you have had a chance to take a look at this information on Attaching Resources and are you finding the same behavior when you test your course in the SCORM Cloud, as that environment is recommended for LMS testing?

Sounds great, Paridhi, and if you should find that you experience the same behavior within the SCORM Cloud, it would be great if you could let us take a look at your file. Options to share would include: uploading it here in the thread so others in the community can chime in to assist. All you'd need to do is click on the grey ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left of the reply box and upload from there.
You may also send your file for private offline review by using this form - the choice is yours! :)
I'm having trouble with this too. I tested in both in our LMS and scormcloud.
I tried adding the document as a url (using the story_content/external_files/...) method and as a pdf. Neither has generated a copy of the file in the story_content folder when the course is published.

As I mentioned to Paridhi, if you could share your file and even a standalone copy of the PDF you'd like to use, you are welcome to share here and we'll take a closer look. Or, if confidentiality is a concern, you may also send your file for private offline review by using this form.

Aha - I didn't have the pdf on my local drive. Have now moved it and that has fixed the problem.
