Resources for Storyline Course Not Recognized on iPad

Hello! I have added a .PDF and .DOC as resources in an Storyline course. The learner has to read the documents as part of the completion requirements. I have published the course as SCORM 1.2 with HTML5 (so that I can view it on an iPad via my LMS's mobile app - SumTotal Mobile). The course publishes as expected. However, after uploading it to my LMS and testing it using the SumTotal Mobile app, I am unable to open the resources after touching the Resources area. The items are there and instead of them showing with their actual file type icons, they both appear with a ? in a blue box to the left of the resources. Has anyone else seen these happen? How can I resolve this. Thanks for the guidance.

Hi Jean, and welcome to Heroes.
There have been a few changes recently, so I may not be 100% correct here, but I do not believe that Resources are supported on iPad. It's not a Storyline issue, but the way the iPad functions.
If you want this you need to have something like a weblink to Resources.
See here for various supported features for various outputs:

Hi Bruce. Thanks for the reply. The funny (or not so funny) thing is that up through a week or two ago, I've published courses with resources, and they've worked properly with each resource being recognized per file type (PDF, DOC, etc). I'm hoping to get this functionality back. Be well.
In which case I am confused, as nothing has changed that would take that functionality away...
I think the best thing to do is disregard my previous answer and hopefully someone else will come in and be able to help.
Apologies for (perhaps) confusing things.

Thanks again Bruce... That link was very helpful. I see that resources are not support with Articulate Mobile Player. I've published my mobile course as SCORM 1.2 with HTML5 which appears to support Resources.
No worries, Bruce. I'm thankful for the reply and the link. Be well.
