Resources tab in HTML 5
Jan 18, 2016
Hi,
I have an issue with the Resources pop up tab which I'm thinking may be a bug in Storyline's HTML5 output. In browsers without Flash installed, i.e. HTML 5 mode, the Resources tab doesn't fully open, presenting a scrollable box that isn't big enough to be useful (see attached screen grab crop). I'm using IE 11 predominately. Does anyone else have this problem, and is there a fix?
Thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard
just found a recent post about this issue

Hi Richard!
Looks like Wendy has popped in to assist you here. The HTML5 output is not supported in IE per the system requirements here. You may want to try a different browser.
Hi Wendy, Leslie,
Thanks for the replies! It's a real shame that HTML5 output is only supported on Chrome on PC - apart from this one problem, our course works great otherwise. I'll get around the problem by including the resources on button triggers within a "Resources" slide.
Thanks again
Richard
Hi,
I am experiencing the same problem, which is a real shame as we aren't able to roll out a new browser to the organisation. Is this something that is going to be resolved at all?
Many Thanks
Chloe
Hi Chloe!
All of our viewing requirements are listed in this documentation. Here’s how Storyline determines which version of your content to display when learners view it.
What new browser are you rolling out to your organization?
Hi Leslie,
Thanks for your response. We aren't rolling out a new browser which is the problem. Our ICT department don't support IE unfortunately.
Thanks again,
Chloe
I read your previous statement backwards then Chloe.
Can you tell me what browser your organization is utilizing and how you are publishing/sharing content with your learners? I'm not understanding the difficulty you are having.
You can see our comparison document here, and resources are not supported in the Articulate Mobile Player, but should work in Flash/HTML5 in the supported environments shared above.
