Are you saying that when the resources tab is open, the course slides progress automatically, whereas when the tab is closed, the slides progress according to user control?
I try to explain better. I configurate the course slides progress automatically, I would like when the resources tab is open, the course slides stopped, and only continue when when the tab is closed.
Ah, now I understand - thanks for clarifying. I don't think there's a way to pause slide activity when the resources tab is open. I don't even know if there's a hack.
It looks like you're getting some help from Simon, and the link he shared for another thread offers a great solution from Christine if that will work for you. Otherwise, you're welcome to submit a feature request for the behavior you'd like to see.
It basically involves each slide having a trigger on the perimeter that pauses the base layer when you move the cursor over it, i.e if you move the cursor off the content towards a tab etc. The pausing is handled by a layer called "Pause". This same layer then waits for you to move your cursor back on the slide, at which point it hides itself (the layer) and the slide continues playing.

Hi Simon,
No, I think there was a misunderstanding.

Here's a similar post that offers a little advice (as well as a link to making a feature request).
I've now had a weird idea which I'll be able to test later. No idea if it'll work - my tired logic says it might, but I really don't know.

Unfortunately my idea doesn't work.
Have attached the SL file anyway.

It works in one way, but it doesn't in others.
Thank every one!!! especially Simon for your answer. I submit a feature request for this behavior

Madeleine
