Responding to email questions
Jan 19, 2016
I received an email with a question related to a post I made on a thread, but there was no link back to the thread. I'm not really sure how to respond the question. I previously responded to question from a thread post via email but it included my organization's entire signature with information that should remain private. Are private messages a feature of the discussions and if so I can I respond without including my personal work email information?

Andrew, if the links in the email aren't working, you may just want to go to your profile page to see your asked questions and other activity.
Hi Andrew!
Looks like Steve has popped in with a great suggestion.
Also, at the bottom of your e-mails you should see an option to view the thread and respond within the forums.
Like this:
Here was your most recent thread if it helps :)
In addition, if you wish to privately connect with users, there is a 'Contact Me' option on most user profiles.
Usually I there are links to the thread, but here's a screenshot of the current email I received.
Oh, looks like someone may have sent you a private message. That message is not on your thread :) Perhaps related to this thread. If you respond to that message, it should be e-mail correspondence.
Is it possible to reply to that message privately other than through email. I tried to search for that person on E-Learning Heroes, but nothing came up.
The user would have to have an Articulate ID to send you that message, but that's not a guarantee that they are active in Heroes. Let me follow up and see if I can find out any additional information or options.
Hi Andrew!
If you respond, your e-mail address will be shared with that user.
Best advice if you do not wish to contact the user in this way is to just copy/paste the question and share your answer in the thread. I guess you can 'hope' that user subscribed :)
Thanks so much Leslie for following up
