I'm having several problems with the responsive player when launching from inside an iFrame.
1. The mobile browser jumps to the bottom of the page when a user touches the screen on an iPhone. This behavior has been duplicated by Articulate support and identified as a possible bug. They attributed the problem to the placement of buttons at the bottom of the lesson page.
2. Optimal browser size / lock optimal player size isn't resizing the responsive player.
Thanks for letting me know you also sent in a support case. I see that Abel did report the issue to our team, and we're taking a look. I'll keep an eye on it as well and let you know here once we have more info.

I found out that the responsive player sizes properly as long as it's not launched from inside an iFrame.
