Restart of module with control to advance

Sep 27, 2020

I have created a course with a number of modules and quizzes. The first time around the student cannot advance any of the modules. Is there a way to set it up so the student can advance if they restart the module after the initial completion?  eg.. the student may want to review one slide within a module to review specific information and not need view the others.

Thank you

Natalie

Hi Natalie,

Thanks for reaching out! This discussion over here provides some insight into the player settings to allow for the user to have full navigation upon revisit.

As my teammate Alyssa mentions here, you can try this:

  • In Player Properties, set the resume behavior to Always Resume. This way, you can be sure the learner won't reset the course and start over from slide 1.1 with restricted navigation.
  • On the last slide, add a button that says "Jump to slide 1" or "Restart course". Add a trigger to Jump to slide 1.1 when the learner clicks the button.

Give it a shot and let us know if you have any questions!
