I'm having an issue in Storyline 3 where the hover text is not disappearing after a user moves their mouse off of hotspots. It is very weird because it's not always the same hotspots with the issue.
It's easier to show than describe. In the attached story you should be able to reproduce the issue by taking the following steps.
1. Click on the arrows to move the character next to a hotspot.
2. Click on the hotspot item, you will see a checkmark appear and then the text will sometimes (maybe a 1/3 of the time) get stuck and not disappear. If you click everything in the room you will likely see the behavior.
Is this is a bug? Do I have something configured incorrectly? Thanks for any assistance or thoughts you can provide.
I think your problem is the order of the items on the timeline. Put the hotspots on top of the checkmarks and it should solve your problem. Worked for me just fine. :)
That worked! Thank you so much - very appreciated.
Just curious... is the logic behind this solution that the check mark was covering the hotspot after it changed to the normal state and thus it wasn't able to register the mouse moving away?

Yes the checkmark was covering the hotspot and that's why it didn't work. :)
Glad I could help. ;)
