Restrict clicking while layers play
Aug 16, 2018
Hi,
I have created some interactions that require the user to click on buttons to reveal information that I hid when the timeline started. I have media on the initial slide and I know how to disable those buttons on the main slide until the media finishes but I am having trouble with my layers. I have layers that have no content on them except for my audio that I want to play when the information for each button is revealed. I want to restrict the user from being able to click on any other buttons while the audio on that layer is playing.
How should I go about this? Can I use triggers and variables to restrict these actions? Can I move the audio into the main slide and only allow it to play when the user clicks the button and disable all buttons while that media plays?

You could try selecting the 'Prevent the user from clicking on the base layer' and 'Hide slide layer when the timeline finishes' options in the layer's properties.
