Restricted button not functioning properly - HELP

Hello, I am using SL3 and when I publish a class I have set the navigation to restricted. This allows my users to take the slides in the required order BUT if they want to revisit any slide that they had previously viewed they can navigate it via the menu.
I recently republished my classes in SL3 via Scorm 1.2 and if the user exits the class their previous slides are showing up as not being viewed. The user can't navigate backwards. Does this make sense?
Prior to my upgrade to SL3, if the user exited out and returned then the learner was still able to freely navigate backwards to review but they were restricted to move forward.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Jenny
have you checked the 'resume' setting
Yes the class does resume, but the slides that were previously viewed are not showing as viewed and you can't navigate back to them. (It's acting like I set the class to restricted).
Hi Jenny
have you tried uploading the published zip to Scorm cloud and testing there. If it works in Scorm Cloud then it may be a setting in your LMS that needs tweaking
Hi Jenny,
You may also want to look at the individual slide settings properties to ensure it's set to resume saved state but if this same exact file worked normally in Storyline 2, I also wonder if you're hitting the suspend data limits with SCORM 1.2 as the publishing option.
You could try publishing with SCORM 2004 and also uploading that to SCORM Cloud to see how that version behaves. This article will walk you through testing at SCORM Cloud.
Just an fyi for anyone else that is having this issue. I finally spoke with someone and they saw what was happening and they just informed me that it is a glitch in the SL3 version and will have to update it but they don't know when the next update will be out for SL3.
Hi Jenny,
Is this the case you were working on with Bret? I wanted to make sure I connected this discussion too it so that we can update both when we hear back about the update.
Yes it is. Do you know when a fix will be ready? I am in a jam since I sell these classes and I have upgraded to SL3 and now they aren't working properly and students are frustrated.
Hi Jenny,
I saw you also heard from Bret today. I don't have a date to share for the next update, but we'll let you know as soon as it's available.
Hi all,
A quick update, this fix is now also included in the latest update for Storyline 3. Updates are free for Storyline 3 licensees and you can download the latest update here. You can also view the entire list of Release notes for Storyline 3 here.
Please let us know if you have any questions!
Hi Ashley, The update did not fix my issue. I'm very disappointed. Can I please speak with someone dierectly?

Hi Jenny!
Looks like you've reached out in your case as well, which is what I would recommend.
Yes, but that last last week on Friday and I have not heard from anyone.
I was referring to you reaching out in your case yesterday. You should be hearing from someone soon.
Thank you, I sent a separate case to Articulate support on Friday regarding a different issue and I haven't heard from anyone on that either. I'm just frustrated, I hope you understand.

Hi Jenny,
I'm really sorry for the delay and frustration that's caused you - but it looks like Robert's got your case now and you two are working through it!
We'll follow along in case we can share an update here in ELH too for others.
