Restricted Mode - Reducing Time Lag Before Next Button Accessible

Oct 26, 2017

Hi Everyone:

I was having problems with SL2 and have just uploaded SL3 and this now allows Restricted mode to be on and to click on navigation of Next button after the timeline has finished.

What I am seeing is that on some slides there is a significant lag time between when the voiceover has finished the on screen text and when the Next button becomes live and accessible. This will obviously become annoying to learners.

Where, and how, can I create an earlier end to the timeline such that it better synchronizes with when the Next button appears?

Sure appreciate your help. This community is fantastic for a novice like myself.

Best,

Roy

Hi Roy!

It sounds like there may be some empty space between the end of the audio file and the end of the timeline. All you need to do is click and drag the end of the timeline to the left, until it meets the end of the audio file.

Or if you'd prefer to remove the next button restriction altogether, uncheck Restrict Next/Previous buttons in the Menu Options window.
