Restricting Menu Access
Nov 20, 2012
Hi
Hoping someone can help me......I am sure I read a forum or help on how to set up Storyline so the Menu doesn't appear until the Learner has completed the course. I am sure I remember testing this successfully - but I now I can't seem to find how to do it....
Was I having a blonde moment or is it possible to make the menu not appear until the learner has been through the whole course?????
Thank you

Hi Nikki,
One option would be to remove the menu from the slides that you'd like to have restricted, then enable the menu on the results slide or whatever you have set up for the final slide in the course.
Here's some information:
Player Features
By default, each slide will include the features that you selected for the player. However, you can customize which player features appear on each slide by selecting “Custom for this slide” from the Player features drop-down list.
Then choose from the following features:
If you change your mind, you can revert back to the player defaults by clicking Reset. This also causes the Prev and Next buttons to be selected for content slides, and the Submit button to be applied to quiz slides.
Thanks Christine
Looked at this - but doesn't quite meet my needs. I was so sure I had seen a why that the menu only appeared once all the slides had been viewed......maybe I was having a blonde moment!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every day is a blonde moment, for me *points to picture*
Sorry that wasn't exactly what you were looking for. Maybe some of the community Heroes can chime in with some suggestions.
Thanks Christine....I have a blonde streak in the front to cover me for these moments!!!!
