I have a super-locked down course. When the learner fails a quiz, it was asked that the project return to the beginning slide with no chance to navigate using the next button or menu. However, when I tested it upon failing the quiz I was able to navigate the menu. It works as it should prior to this. Any suggestions?
I think my question was poorly written. They would like to prevent the learner from scrubbing through the seekbar, advancing ahead by clicking the next button (before the audio is complete), or advancing ahead on the menu (before audio complete). I have these all set, although if I take the quiz and fail, and return to the first slide, I can freely navigate the menu. The other two requirements are still met, though.
Thanks Christine I believe all the requirements are met. The issue now is that the file is huge, and I would like to keep it small and only post one scene, but it appears that now I have some unintended issues popping up from the copy/paste of that scene! I will see what I can pull together although it may take a day or two to post.
Thanks for checking out the info I sent, and I am sorry to hear you are experiencing issues, Daniel! Please take as much time as you need to provide your file. :)
I think this was occurring because I did not set the course to "locked" in the player (I had it as "restricted"). I changed the setting and now it works as expected!
Fantastic news, Daniel! Your player settings are what I intended to check out first if you would have needed to provide your file. Glad you are all set, and thanks for the update!
Thanks Christie I was doing the SMH/facepalm/etc. wondering why on earth I didn't look there first! As Job from Arrested Development would say : "COME ON!"
Happens to all of us, Daniel (and I wish I would have suggested that sooner)... but, as long as you are good to go now, that's what matters most! (And great show reference, too!) :)

Dan,
are you allowing the learner to navigate freely with the menu or next button before they fail the quiz?
Hi Terry,

Dan,
Can you share your .story file? I wont be able to look at it tonight, but I could tomorrow.
The first thing that came to mind after reading your comment is the resume saved state function might be doing this.
Not entirely sure about that though.
Sure I can post it tomorrow Terry thanks for your assistance!
Hi, Daniel -
I agree that it would be great if we could check out your file, but in the meantime, can you please ensure that you are working locally, and that you are testing the published output in the intended environment?
