Restricting Navigation When Using Web Objects

Mar 06, 2017

Hi,

We are using a questionnaire that is embedded in to the SL2 course as a web object and are trying to figure out if there is a way to prevent users from clicking through this slide. The quiz has more than one question, so setting up a condition that users can not advance before clicking on the web object does not work. And the reason we are using the outside object is that we do not have the LMS and our courses are published for the web. Any suggestions on that would be greatly appreciated.

Best,

Tamara

Hi Tamara,

It's tricky to force users to interact with a web object before advancing to the next slide. One idea is to include a "password" at the end of your survey, which users can type into a fill-in-the-blank question in order to move on to the next slide. Here's an example of what that might look like:

Hopefully other community members can chime in and share their ideas and workarounds, as well!
