I have been trying to restrict using the 'next' button until the timeline finishes, and watched the below tutorials, however when I preview it, it still automatically goes to the next slide after the timeline finishes... everything I have done matches what the tutorial showed... Please help!
Welcome to the community. Can you upload your story so the community can take a look? Offhand, the only thing that jumps in my head is trigger order. The order of triggers in the trigger panel is very important.
Thanks for the reply! I actually managed to figure it out, apparently below in the slide properties frame, it was still set for the slide to advance automatically, instead of by user. I guess I missed that... can that be done on the master slide so it affects all of them?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply! I actually managed to figure it out, apparently below in the slide properties frame, it was still set for the slide to advance automatically, instead of by user. I guess I missed that... can that be done on the master slide so it affects all of them?
Thanks,
Phoebe
Can't be done on the master slide, but can be done easily.
Go to Story View.
