Result slide

Sep 25, 2018

Hello everyone,

We have a ten chapter module with an intermediate quiz at the end of each chapter.
We seek to provide feedback based on the answers to a three-question quiz.

Our request is as follows:

1- If the learner succeeds, he/she continues the module in the next chapter.

2- If he fails a first time, he repeats the entire chapter plus the three-question quiz.

3- If he fails a second time, he repeats the entire chapter plus the three-question quiz.

4-Finally, if he fails the questions a third time, he must be rescheduled to a new session.

We do block on the configuration of points 3 and 4.
Do you have a technical solution for us?

Thank you

Hi,

I think you can do 3 and 4 by adding conditional triggers to the result slide. You may need to introduce a variable that will count how many times the learner took the exam and if this variable counts 2, the trigger will place him to the start of the chapter for retake. Then if this variable already contains 3, he/she will be redirected to a new slide indicating that he needs to be rescheduled to a new session. You may check on how to add conditions in trigger in the link below:

Then to know more about how variables work in storyline and how you can use them into your course, you may check on this link below:
