Results based on # of items chosen?

Jun 06, 2015

Hi, all:  I'm trying to develop a client module based on their employee advancement checklist. Based on the number of items the user chooses (say, 1-3 vs. 4-8, etc.), a different feedback will be displayed (i.e. "you need more training" vs. "you're ready for the next level!")

Try as I might, I cannot seem to figure out how to do this & am stuck.  Any feedback on the best method would be great.  Thanks!

It did work, Michael & Ashley--based on the number of checkboxes the user selects, I set a trigger to open a lightbox reading, "You're Ready!" or "More Training Needed" (along the lines of Michael's example).

However, is there a way to add a "Clear Checkboxes" option somewhere?  Because I noticed that although it works at first, I had to set this up on multiple pages--and after the first page, the results still read as "You're Ready!" even though only one box is checked.  So, I'm thinking it needs to be reset somehow before moving on to the next page.

If you need the same type of interaction on multiple slides, you should set up slide-specific counter variables, e.g. ItemCounterSlide1, ItemCounterSlide2, etc. Otherwise, the ItemCounter value from one slide may be carried over to the next. You could also add a Clear/Rest button that, when clicked, would reset the variable and return all checkboxes to their Normal (unselected) states.
