Results Slide Always Showing Successful Layer Regardless of Submitted Answers
Mar 31, 2017
Hi Heroes!
I have a course where the results slide always shows the success layer regardless of the submitted answers. The quiz is set up so that the learner will have to answer all of the questions correctly to pass (a single incorrect answer should prompt the failure layer to show at the end). This course is part of a series, so I have several courses that are set up like this and I have just been copying the results slide from the first module to save time. This is the only course where I am experiencing this issue and I have four other courses where this has worked fine.
I looked at the triggers/variables set in the original course (and other successful courses) and tried to replicate them in the new course, but didn't have success. I will attach a screen shot of the trigger wizard from the original course. I think the trouble spot is that I am unable to recreate the variable for "Results.ScorePoints" etc.
I copied the results slide again from the original course--the triggers came over correctly until I deleted the other results slide--then they changed to the problem I was having earlier. I also tried copying just the trigger for success/failure and the trigger came over without the variables.
Any help or troubleshooting ideas from the community would be greatly appreciated! I am only able to share the files privately as they are proprietary.

Just want to add to this that when I try to add a trigger condition the drop down for variables is empty. I do have a drop down for shapes and window.
This is the only course in the series where I am experiencing this issue--all of the other courses have options available under that drop down.
Hi Lindy,
Copying the results slide may be the key - I've seen that cause some odd behavior in the past, but the best way to figure it out is to get our hands on that .story file. You mentioned needing to share it privately so you can upload it here to our Support Engineers and they'll gladly take a look.
