The LMS is reporting a status of Fail with a passing score in the SCO and I cannot find where in Storyline 360 to correct. I've spent nearly half a day replacing the results slide and republishing the course. I'm about to move the entire course to a different authoring tool. Last call for help.
Hi Theresa, I think this is a problem caused by a mastery score defined in the manifest file of the SCORM package. This kind of issue can usually be corrected by removing the Mastery Score from the imsmanifest.xml file that is created when you publish the content.
When you define a passing score, it adds a Mastery Score the manifest file. This is then used by the LMS to determine a pass/fail status based on a score written to the LMS. If the score received is less than the mastery score, the status is set to failed.
Storyline, for some reason sets an initial score of 0 (zero). And so when this is sent to the LMS, the LMS will evaluate and set to failed, until the user gets a score higher than the Mastery Score.
As mentioned, you can edit the Mastery Score out of the manifest file.
