Results slide if failing is not working

Hi,

I am having an issue with my course. At the end of the course I have a quiz. The student needs to pass the quiz on their 3rd attempt. If not then the course informs the student they need to retake the course but first they need to finish their current session then restart the course again.

I am currently testing and if I pass, the score and a complete gets reported to the LMS. However, when I fail nothing is being reported to the LMS. The course stays "in progress". When I try to restart the course to take it again I get asked if I want to start where I left off instead of being prompted to restart.

Also, I have the settings set to Complete/Incomplete so with a fail I should also see Complete reported to the LMS but with a failing score. Something is not triggering a complete but I am out of ideas. Any suggestions?

In the failed condition, the course is not getting completed which is why it is showing in-progress. Setting status to passed/failed option can solve your issue.

Hi - Thanks for your help. Changing the setting to Passed/Failed did the trick. I was hesitant to change it because I was told by our LMS admin that the setting I needed to use was Complete/Incomplete but she was obviously incorrect.
