Results Slide Interactivity

Jan 20, 2015

So here's what I'd like to do. I've built a test out option at the beginning of a course. When the trainee get to the end of the test out, if he passes, he can exit. If they fail, they have to go through the training.

I have three buttons on the Results Slide: REVIEW TEST ( normal state and works fine), CONTINUE,  and EXIT.

The CONTINUE and EXIT buttons both have an initial state of "Hidden".

I want to reveal either the CONTINUE or EXIT buttons based on the results (either 80% passing or some number of points).

I've tried about everything but nothing seems to work for both buttons. I triggered the REVIEW TEST button to change states based on results but I can only get one button to reveal (Which appears to be the first trigger listed under the object trigger).

Can someone enlighten me?

Thanks,

Manfred

Wendy,

I'll have to give that a try. Since then, I figured out that I could place buttons on different layers. As the Results Slide has a Pass and Fail layer, I embedded the appropriate button where it needs to reside. I think I was trying to make it too complicated. Part of the learning curve. There's so much to know with this software but I'm loving the versatility.

Thanks for the quick response.

Manfred
