Results Slide with scores from each question bank drawn from

Jan 07, 2021

Hello everyone,

I am creating a course in Storyline 360 with 4 lessons/chapters. At the end of the course there is a final knowledge check that draws randomly from 4 question banks set up for each lesson.

I want the results slide to give a total overall score, and then break the results down by lesson so that the user can go back to the specific lesson they did poorly in.

Is there a simple way to achieve this?

Thanks in advance!

I would create "hidden" result slides for each category/lesson, and then add a results slide for the combined (change results to be tracked from Questions > Results)

When I say hidden, what I've done, is create the results slide, set the timeline to 0.5s and add a white object with a loading icon.  It will process each of the results in 2s and then give you the final results.

I can try and create an example if you need.

Hello! Thank you for responding. I figured it out by doing something similar. I created a quiz using a series of questions banks and corresponding question draws (I didn't get the entire subject shuffle I wanted, but what are you gonna do?) and then I created individual results that scored those specific question draws. I took the text and triggers from those and put it in a total results slide. The individual lesson results are at the end of the scene and the end user has no way to get to them, so they will only see the final/total results slide. It works pretty well!
