Results Slides for Two Different Tracks

May 23, 2017

I am creating one course for two audiences that have required knowledge in common and then I branch off with scenarios for those who work in a store and those who work in a call center.  I would like a store associate to take the store branch and have  his/her score reported to the LMS OR have a Call Center associate take the other branch and have that score reported to the LMS. I have added two results slide - one for each branch, however, the Publishing options want me to pick a single slide to report results.

Do I have any options for setting up scores from two branches within the lesson and having the selected branch score go to the LMS?

Thanks! Cindy

Hi there, Cindy!

You can only choose one results slide to report to the LMS.

Either build a results slide for each of your branches and combine them into a final results slide which will report to the LMS, OR have both branches point to the same results slide.

The trick for you is to set a passing score that accounts for the 0% that your users would get on the quiz they did NOT take. It will be easier if you have the same number of questions in each quiz.

If you don't like the idea of setting 40 or 50% as a passing score, you can use triggers and variables to mark all the questions correct on the quiz your user didn't take, and then set a passing score accordingly.
