Resume lessons HTML5 offline

Aug 09, 2017

I published a course in HTML5. Users will use it offline at IE 11 or Edge. I have to give them the ability to resume, but this functionality does not work offline. What can I do?

Hello Marek and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

Typically offline viewing can be one of two ways:

1. Articulate Mobile Player

2. Publishing to CD/local viewing

When you view a Storyline 2 course on your local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that can cause various features of the course to fail. To test your published content and share it with others, it's best to upload it to a web server or LMS. See this article for details.

It sounds like you may be publishing for the web. Are you utilizing download options or viewing a web page offline via your browser?

Hopefully someone in the community will be able to chime in to share if they've mastered a similiar set-up.
