Resume module
Apr 16, 2018
Hello guys,
I am new to articulate and I did not find this answer anywhere :(. I have created e-learning modules, and our LMS does allow the user to resume the module if learner changes devices. However, we do know know who often does articulate embed the trigger to the LMS that the learner has reached a certain point of the module? Does anyone know how often? I hope this makes sense?
Thank you all in advance.

Hi Andre,
If I understand correctly, you'd like to know how regularly the user's progress is saved? From my experience Storyline saves whenever the slide changes. It doesn't seem to save progress of layers, state changes or variable adjustments UNTIL you navigate to another slide.
Hope this helps
Hi Andre,
Storyline is communicating data to your LMS throughout the entire course, and we'll save each slide's status once you've left the slide.
You'll want to make sure the course is set up to resume within the Player properties and if you'd like to see when and what data Storyline is sending to your LMS, look at the steps here to enable LMS debug mode.
Hope that helps!
