Resume not working in web published course

I am having an issue with a course not resuming when published for web. We initially tried the course in our LMS (only supports SCORM 1.2) however it was not resuming properly. I had read about suspend data limits and using SCORM 2004 but i could not do this (LMS limitations) so opted for hosting the course on a local server outside of the LMS. Users are reporting it taking them back to the first slide of the course after spending about an hour in the course, closing the window then attempting to resume on the same computer/browser. I cannot re-create the issue myself. Any experience/ideas on why this may be occurring? And/or any idea on how to fix it?

Hi Eric!

You mentioned the published course is hosted on a web server, and in your own testing, the course resumes properly. Is that right?

For those learners who say the course starts over from the beginning, do you know what web browser they are using? Are learners re-launching the course from the same web browser and computer?
