Did you publish to scorm 1.2? You may have aproblem with the amount of scorm data being sent which is causing the player to send back too much data. Ensure you dont have it set to force new attempt in moodle, or force resume in storyline.
I think I have amanged to get around the problem by adding an EXIT button in the player. When I exit using the button the resume function seems to work.
I know but it's working. Something else that I noticed, if I leave the course by closing the browser window when I go back into the course and choose to resume where I left off it takes me to the point I was at the last time I left using the exit buton.
So it seems that if the exit button is used last screen used is stored
Seems strange that the exit button works, are you using IE9 o test there are some strange things between flash/javascript and IE9 with moodle. Try putting IE9 into compatibility mode to see if that fixes it, TBH you should be forcing IE9 into compatibility mode in your moodle site anyway.
Although the exit buttons looks like it is working for you, the exit button is one of the first things that browser security breaks, so you need to sort out why this is happening, may be an idea to put moodle and your course into debug mode to work this one out
...another question on the same lines...when you're taking a quiz and if you click the 'Next' button without selecting an answer you get an invalid answer prompt (image below).
I would also like to know how I can change the font and text of the invalid answer prompt.
Thanks. As you can see from the image below, I'm using Arial for the player but my resume unit dialog box seems to be in a different font. How do I fix this? Please advise.

Hello Phil
It is SCORM 1.2 - Set to prompt to resume and Moodle is not set to force new attempt.
If I publish to the web the resume box appears and works ok but if I publish to SCORM the box doesn't appear.

Steve

Hmm, there shouldn't be a difference between using an exit button or closing the browser window . . . .

If close window used information isn't stored.

Hi Phil,
Is there any way I can change the font and text displayed on the Resume dialog box?
Hi Phil,

Hi Sij,
Here's a couple ideas on changing the invalid answer prompt:
There's a screenr by Jeanette Brooks here
And it looks like she did another here and included a sample story
Rebecca...You're the best!!! Thank you and Jeanette for the amazing screenr.
It's a LOT of work...I'll have to add the layer and triggers to almost 100 questions :( but it's a way forward nonetheless
Could you also please tell me if there is any way I can change the font and text displayed on the Resume dialog box?
You should be able to change the font in the player dialogue (only one font for the whole player, the text should be in the text labels section
Hi Phil,
Thanks. As you can see from the image below, I'm using Arial for the player but my resume unit dialog box seems to be in a different font. How do I fix this? Please advise.
