Resuming on different browsers / adding multiple email addresses

Currently making a training program using storyline 2, and have the resume option open. when it gets published the resume prompt works. what i would like to know is how do i get the resume prompt to work allowing the users to open up the same training on different computers or browsers and resume from the same place.
is that something i do via coding front-end/back-end or can i do that in story-line and how?
also how do i add multiple email addresses that can be contacted for example a person may chose their department and when click email your manager or something the email the manager for their department. Again is that something that can be done in storyline or is that a coding thing. and if it can be done how?

Hi Stefne!
I wanted to confirm - are you publishing for LMS and uploading the entire contents as described here? If the LMS doesn't support bookmarking, and relies on the Flash cookie that is browser and computer specific - so it won't return the user to where they left off if they restart on a different computer.
There are specific requirements that must be met by the learner’s computer for email triggers to function properly. See this article for details.
no, I am publishing to web so HTML5,
also Hello
Ok, so if publishing to the web, that would be relying on cookies and this does not work across browsers and computers.
ok, Will i be able to have the resume prompt to work allowing the users to open up the same training on different computers (not at the same time) or browsers and resume from the same place.
If you are publishing to the web, this relies on the browser cookies - so it would need to be the same computer and same browser to resume properly.
is there a work around for it in the even a user, utilizes a different computer?
Not that I'm aware of Stefne. This is browser dependent.
Perhaps someone in the community will be able to pop in and assist if this may be possible.
Once published, your course is not attached to Storyline, so this is not something that lies within our software.
ok, thank you
No worries :)
Does LMS support or somehow give a solution to either of my issues?
Hi Stefne!
As you can see in my response here, this is an option that is available through some LMS providers. I would not be able to offer support on which ones or the functionality of this feature either.
Perhaps the community has some suggestions to share with you.
Thanks again
