Retake course - change button states

May 01, 2013

I have a quiz in my training that requries you to retake the course if you do not pass the quiz. They will retake the entire training and not just the quiz portion. I have variables in my training that require you to view each button before you can move to the next slide.

So, when someone has to retake the course, my buttons are in the visited state and the training does not require the person to click on each button because they were viewed the first time through the training. Is there a way to change my button states back to normal when someone needs to retake the course?

Hi Krista. Welcome to the community!

Without seeing how this is setup with the variables, it's difficult to know if this would work for you. Could you reset those variables when the user clicks on the button, or link to retake the quiz?

I'm not sure if you're using number variables, if you are you could set the variable value to 0. If you're using True/False variables, you could have that option reset them to their initial value (I'm assuming "False") and so on.

Would that work for you?
