I've used Storyline for years, and I am working on my first Storyline 2 course. On the final test, I allow the student to retry the quiz if they fail. For some reason, when they fail the first attempt, then click on "Retry Quiz", they get a completion notification email from the LMS (SCORM course) even though they are only on the first question of their second attempt of the test. In other words, they get a completion in the LMS even though they did not pass the test - all they did was start to retry the quiz.
Many LMSs track both a completion status and a success status. To report both statuses, choose either Passed/Incomplete or Passed/Failed when publishing Storyline content. Completed/Incomplete and Completed/Failed report only the completion status.
You can also test this in the SCORM Cloud to see if you are getting the same issue.
If you are seeing the same behavior on the SCORM Cloud, you could always share the file for us to look at.
Also, when you use the "reply" button in the emails you receive, your email signature will copy into the forum post. You can go in and edit your post to remove this.
