The retry functionality will provide all the potential questions by default, even if they were originally correct. If you'd like to see the user only retry the questions they got wrong, you can set it up but it's a bit of work. You'll see Jeanette offers a description here.
If you've got a question bank set up (random assignment of X number of questions) the user should get a new set of questions on a retry, although depending on the total number of available questions the potential for repeats does exist.
