Returning to LMS from Mobile Library Content

Hi all,

We are currently developing Storyline lessons which are being hosted on our Learning Management System but used by students on iOS mobile devices.

Normal 0 false false false oNotPromoteQF /> EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

When we launch the course from the LMS the launcher page opens the Articulate app on the iPad, which is fine. However when we close the course and attempt to return to the LMS via the browser back, unless you press it twice in very quick succession, the launcher page re opens the app.

Has anyone else out there had this issue? It only seems to be since we update to iOS 8.x?

Hi Dave and welcome to Heroes!

I've seen this before, but not just in iOS8 - as the launcher page is what is held in your mobile safari address bar - and if you've published for the mobile player it's automatically launching the app.

I don't believe there is a way to force it to behave otherwise. You may want to include a prompt for the user that if they need to return to the LMS they should open a new window/tab within Safari.
