I have a long narrative in a scrolling panel that incorporates links to additional pages and links. When someone returns back to the panel page from the supplemental items it returns you to the top of the page. Is there a way to have the person return to where they left off?
I've found that you can get the scroll panels to automatically scroll down using a motion path. But the problem with this, is once you use the motion path to scroll the panel, you can't scroll back to the top. If that is ok, then this method may work for you.
Great idea, but in my experience with scrolling panels, that doesn't work. I just tried it and it still didn't work. Any suggestions about how you make that work?

Hi Robin,
It may be possible.

There was a method this make this work with JavaScript about 4 years ago. But Storyline has changed a lot since then, and I don't know if it will still work. You can check this article to see if you can make it work.

Set the slide to resume saved state. Javascript still works but is not necessary here

That must be a bug then.
Chris Hodgson has a demo out somewhere using javascript, you would just need to save the position and then scroll to it.
Hi Everyone,
I did a quick test and confirmed that the scrolling panel will reset to the top when the slide is revisited and set to Resumed Saved State.
I believe Phil is referring to this post below!
