Hi J,

If you need to collect/analyze data from a quiz or survey, an LMS is really the most elegant way to go (either that or Articulate Online). However, if an LMS isn't a possibility for you, you do have a couple other options for obtaining quiz results. You can format your Results slides to include a Print Results and/or Email Results button.

However, having said that, emailing results is not a built in feature in Storyline. Storyline doesn't allow results to be emailed. We want every feature in our software to work well. And, unfortunately, there’s no way to email results easily, accurately, and consistently. For example, if you use Gmail or your computer’s security settings are high, you can’t email results. Also, you run the risk of learners tampering with results since they can access the email before it’s sent. Given these limitations, we decided not to include the email results feature in our products anymore. There are a few methods provided by other community members that will enable you to send results via email, however. I believe most of the methods for this use JavaScript, though, so it depends on your comfort level with this type of coding.

Alternatively, you could use a third-party site, such as Survey Monkey (a free survey site) for your surveys. You could simply insert the survey into your course as a web object. Sites like the one I linked usually enable you to receive the feedback by email, or on their sites.
